About Connie

On a personal note, my background is as follows:

I was born in 1959 and raised in Uptown Chicago, Illinois. My first introduction to church came through Miss Ruby and the bus ministry of Ravenswood Baptist Church at an early age and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 5.

I am the third of six children and I have overcome many challenges in life including the family dynamics of a schizophrenic father, an abusive upbringing, and the loss of our son Clint at the age of 12; September 11, 1995.

I've been in the business industry for more than 30 years and have been recognized for my leadership skills and achievements in manufacturing, distribution and planning.  Based  in Chicago and later in Denver, I traveled throughout the United States as a Senior Instructor and Subject Matter Expert at JD Edwards Enterprise Software, now owned by Oracle.

Al and I have served as church leaders since our marriage in 1980. Al was called to pastor in 2002 and we currently serve at Grace Church of South Park, residing in Jefferson, Colorado.  We have two sons, Clint (deceased) and Jake who currently resides in the Chicago area.

I love to teach the principles of God's Word with a "real life application" style, sprinkled with humor to allow the tough stuff to go down easy. Some of the events I have spoken at include:
