On a personal note, my background is as follows:

• Born into a Christian family in Chicago, Illinois in 1959. Accepted Jesus Christ as myLord and Savior at the age of 11.
• Lay minister for over 20 years at Messiah Baptist Church in Addison, Illinois -serving as deacon, worship leader, choir director, adult Sunday schoolsuperintendent, counselor, and Bible study leader.
• Associate pastor at South Pointe Community Church in Highlands Ranch,Colorado.
• Pastor of Jefferson Community Church in Jefferson, Colorado.
• In May of 2005, the Holy Spirit led my wife and I, along with two otherfamilies, to begin a new church in South Park.
• The vast majority of my biblical education has come from self-study andthrough 20 years of listening to sermons and teachings from various godlymen and women – live and on tapes and CD’s.
• I am currently completing my degree in biblical studies through distance learning at Louisiana Baptist University.
